Job Summary
Buchanan Technologies is looking for an experienced Teamcenter Administrator to join the IT Product Lifecycle Management team supporting our client's Integrated Product Support (IPS) landscape. Based in Fort Worth, TX, this role focuses on maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing critical systems such as Teamcenter, SLICwave, and Windchill Quality Solutions, enabling success in military manufacturing programs. This is a Temp-to-Perm placement.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Teamcenter Administrator, providing technical and functional solutions for enterprise applications.
- Lead design, build, and testing efforts for the IPS suite, including Teamcenter, Cortona 3D, and SLICwave.
- Oversee the retirement of legacy Teamcenter environments supporting planning, tooling, and NC data.
- Collaborate with the IT PLM admin team to support engineering applications, including patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Develop creative solutions to minimize recurring issues and manual intervention.
- Ensure compliance with security controls, vulnerability management, and software/hardware currency.
- Respond promptly to incidents and outages with effective communication and resolution.
- Work with process owners and SMEs to implement application enhancements and meet business requirements.
- Create and maintain accurate support documentation.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- 10+ years in application and Windows server administration.
- 5+ years in Teamcenter system administration, including implementation and upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of user authentication protocols (Kerberos, SAML 2.0, LDAP, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics to diverse audiences.
- Proven teamwork, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and learn new technologies quickly.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Git, or SVN.
- Exposure to logistics systems or service bill of materials.
- Basic understanding of database management.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
- Experience mentoring peers in technical skills and processes.
